An Albert Genau winter garden is built with a fixed glass roof on an aluminium frame and guillotine, sliding or folding glass façades. As an authorised dealer, SkyArt Group designs each project to the space: a custom solution, not an off-the-shelf model.
Albert Genau winter garden models
As an authorised Albert Genau manufacturing dealer, SkyArt Group makes and installs winter gardens in Istanbul (we are not Albert Genau itself). A winter garden is not a fixed catalogue model; it is a composition fitted to the space, summarised in three decisions:
| Decision | Options |
|---|---|
| Roof | Fixed glass roof (4+4 laminated glass; argon-filled insulated glass option) |
| Side façade | Guillotine glass, insulated sliding glass or folding glass |
| Shading | A Sky Zip screen can be added under the roof |
Load-bearing profiles are 100 × 160 mm aluminium; the finish can be paint or a wood-pattern cladding. The front gutter profile joins the support legs, which also act as the gutter.
Which side façade?
- Guillotine glass: motorised; stop the glass at any height; acts as a balustrade when open.
- Sliding glass: insulated, simple, runs on rails.
- Folding glass: gives a fully open span.

Fixed roof or opening roof?
A fixed glass roof makes the winter garden work like an indoor room. If you want to see the sky and open the roof, a bioclimatic pergola suits better. Under a glass roof in summer, plan a roof screen and ventilation (Sky Zip roof screen).
Price, timing and permits
- Price depends on dimensions, glass type, side system and design complexity (price factors). We do not quote figures without measuring.
- As it is a permanent structure, clarify the management plan, owners' approval and municipality in advance (permit guide).
- All our products carry a 2-year warranty.
